How To Cook Homemade Honey Ice Cream With Roasted Chestnuts - Recipe

Necessary products:

 

  • 1 cup roasted chestnuts
  • 500 whipping cream
  • 500 milliliters of whole milk
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 6 egg yolks

 

Method of preparation:


Put a metal bowl in the freezer and leave it for 2-3 hours. Put the peeled chestnuts in a blender, add the sugar, honey, vanilla and puree until smooth.

 

In another bowl, beat the sugar with the yolks until creamy, add the milk and cream.

 

Continue to stir until the products are homogeneous. Combine the two mixtures, stir and pour into the cold bowl.

 

Cover with cling film and put a lid. Return the ice cream to the freezer, refrigerate for 5 hours, and remove 15 minutes before serving. Pour into bowls, serve and enjoy.
