Required products :

  • 400 milliliters of unsweetened coconut milk
  • 1 teaspoon cream
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 cup coconut shavings, unsweetened
  • 6 tablespoons dark rum

For garnish :

  • toasted coconut flakes

Method of preparation :

  • In a saucepan, mix the coconut milk, cream and sugar.
  • Heat them over medium heat and stir until the sugar is completely melted.
  • Add the rum, stir and allow the mixture to cool completely.
  • Sprinkle with coconut shavings and stir to distribute evenly.
  • Pour the mixture into a suitable container and freeze for at least 2-3 hours.
  • Serve the ice cream sprinkled with toasted coconut flakes.
