How To Cook Homemade Jelly Candies With Orange And Lemon - Recipe

Required products :

  • 1 teaspoon water
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons gelatin
  • 1 teaspoon cold water
  • 1 teaspoon orange juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • confectionery paints of your choice
  • sugar for sprinkling

Method of preparation :

  • Sprinkle gelatin on cold water and allow it to swell.
  • Heat the water and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat until the sugar has melted and the mixture has thickened. If you drip from it in cold water, it should harden immediately.
  • Remove the sugar syrup from the heat and add the gelatin mixture, orange and lemon juice and the confectionery paint of your choice.
  • Stir and strain through a fine sieve.
  • Pour into a greased square pan approximately 20 cm in size and allow the mixture to harden.
  • Cut the jelly candies according to the desired shape and size, roll in sugar and serve.
