Required products :

  • 2 egg whites
  • 75 grams of sugar
  • 25 grams of instant gelatin
  • 110 milliliters of water
  • food coloring of choice and optional
  • 1 teaspoon oil

Method of preparation :

Pour the gelatin into a deep bowl, preferably glass. Fill it with boiled water (at room temperature) and leave for 10-15 minutes to swell.

Using a mixer on medium speed, beat the egg whites until foamy.

Gradually, in small portions, add the sugar. Beat at high speed and do not turn off the appliance until you have put all the sugar.

If you are going to use a colorant, now is the time to add it. You can use natural alternatives, for example: beet juice, carrots, spinach. Beat for another 2-3 minutes.

Put the swollen gelatin in the microwave for 30-60 seconds, during which time it will dissolve completely, then strain through a layer of gauze.

Add it to the egg white foam and beat to distribute the gelatin evenly.

Prepare a suitable mold with high walls, cover the inside with plastic wrap, grease with oil (which has no aroma). Distribute the mixture evenly in the bowl and store in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours.

When the contents are firm, carefully turn the form over on parchment. Remove the foil and cut the dessert into small cubes.

The candies are stored in the cold for several days.

Enjoy your meal!
