How To Cook Homemade Rahat Turkish Delight With Hazelnuts - Recipe

Required products :

  • 1 teaspoon orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 100 grams of hazelnuts (can peanuts)
  • powdered sugar

Method of preparation :

Mix 1/3 of the orange juice with the sugar and put on low heat. Cook for 5 minutes until the syrup thickens. Pour the remaining juice over the starch and carefully start pouring the syrup in a thin stream without removing the pan from the heat. Then add the hazelnuts (maybe whole or crushed) and mix well. Pour the mixture into a silicone mold about 2 cm high and allow the treat to cool. When this happens, cut into cubes and roll in powdered sugar. Put the dessert in the refrigerator to harden and cool.
