How To Cook Homemade Snail Snacks With Butter And Powdered Sugar - Recipe

Required products :

  • 3 teaspoons flour
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons dry active yeast
  • 1/3 tea cup powdered sugar
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon warm water
  • 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 50 grams of unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • melted butter for spreading
  • powdered sugar for sprinkling

Method of preparation :

 

  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees and cover pan with baking paper.
  • In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, olive oil and salt.
  • Add the yeast, egg and warm water.
  • Knead with your palms a smooth and elastic dough for about 10 minutes.
  • Cover the bowl with a clean cotton cloth and leave the dough to rise for 1 hour or until it doubles in size.
  • Knead again briefly to remove air bubbles and divide into 4 equal parts.
  • Roll each part thinly on a lightly floured surface and spread with softened butter.
  • Roll into a roll and then wrap in a spiral, but not too tightly, as the rolls will rise during baking.
  • Arrange in the prepared pan and bake for 15 minutes.
  • Place the homemade snail snacks on a wire rack, spread with melted butter and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
  • Serve with a smile and enjoy.
