Required products :

  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tea cups wholemeal flour, white
  • 1 cup wholemeal flour, peas
  • 1/4 tea cup coconut sugar
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons fresh milk mixed with 1 1/2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

Method of preparation :

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and grease a standard bread pan.
  • In a large bowl, mix the baking powder, baking soda, salt, wholemeal flour and coconut sugar. Stir well.
  • Add the molasses and milk with the vinegar and mix with a wooden spoon until homogeneous.
  • Pour the dough into the prepared form and bake for 50-60 minutes.
  • Allow the wholemeal bread to cool briefly before slicing.
  • Serve with butter or other, to taste.
