Learn how to cook "Homemade yellow cheese with cottage cheese and butter". Delicious recipe.

Necessary products:

  • 700 grams of cottage cheese (fat content can be any)
  • 0.500 liters of fresh milk (preferably high fat)
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 30 grams of butter

Method of preparation:

Pour the milk into a suitable saucepan, place on the stove and when it warms up, add the cottage cheese to it. Mix very well with a wire whisk, wait for the mixture to boil and cook over low heat for 5 - 10 minutes. The milk will become transparent. Then pass through a sieve the resulting combination or use gauze for this purpose, let the liquid drain and return the curd to the pan. Then add salt, baking soda, butter and put on the stove for 10 minutes, stirring. The lumps should break completely and the mass should become homogeneous. Transfer it to a pre-prepared plastic wrap, give the desired shape (roll, loaf or other), wrap with foil and leave to cool. That is all.

Enjoy your meal!
