How To Cook Honey Cake With Raisins, Cinnamon And Nuts - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Honey cake with raisins, cinnamon and nuts". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

1 kg of high quality flour

500 grams of honey

250 grams of butter

5 eggs

1 teaspoon sugar

3 teaspoons water

2 teaspoons baking soda

cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves - ground to a powder

100 grams of raisins

100 grams of candied oranges or other candied fruits

100 grams of ground walnuts or other nuts of your choice

Method of preparation :

Mix the butter, sugar and honey in a saucepan, fill with water and place on the stove and heat until the sweet products melt. Allow the combination to cool to room temperature.

Add cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, baking soda to the flour and gradually pour the sweet mixture. Then add the yolks one by one, stirring constantly to make the mixture homogeneous. Finally, add the whipped egg whites, raisins, ground walnuts and candied orange slices.

Pour the dough into a suitable form and bake in a preheated oven to 170 degrees. Do not open the oven for the first 30 minutes of cooking. During this time, the cake will swell. When the characteristic crust forms on the surface, you can increase the temperature and let it bake for another 30-35 minutes.

Check readiness with a toothpick.

You can serve this sweetness anyway, but you can also cut it into 3 layers to shape like a cake. To do this, put a filling of candied oranges and walnuts between the countertops, cover the cake with icing.

Enjoy your meal!
