Required products :
2 teaspoons sifted wheat flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 tablespoon honey
1/2 teaspoon water
1 egg
1 tablespoon roasted sesame seeds
pinch of salt
frying oil
For syrup:
1 teaspoon sugar
1/3 tea cup of water
Method of preparation :
The dough.
Pour warm water into a large bowl, add honey, a pinch of salt and stir. Beat the egg in the mixture and stir again until smooth.
Gradually add the flour mixed with the baking soda, stir and pour the sesame seeds. Knead the dough and shape it into a sausage with a diameter of 4 cm. Cut it into circles 2 cm thick, roll them out into small loaves and fry in hot oil on medium heat for 2-3 minutes on each side.
Remove the finished cakes on a paper towel to drain off excess fat.
Prepare the syrup.
Pour the sugar into a suitable container, pour the water, stir and put on medium heat until the sugar is completely melted (remove the foam formed).
Allow the syrup to cool slightly and place the loaves in it to soak.
Serve with ice cream or tea.
