Required products :

  • 2 balls of mozzarella
  • 400 grams of chopped canned tomatoes in their own juice
  • 8 cloves garlic
  • 1 large stalk of basil
  • 4-5 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 pinches dried oregano
  • black pepper (freshly ground)
  • left
  • Italian ciabatta bread to serve (of course, you could serve with another bread product)


Method of preparation :

Turn on the oven to preheat to 200 degrees and start preparing the products.

Peel the garlic cloves and cut them into thin circles. Put them in hot olive oil, add salt and fry lightly. Add the oregano and tomatoes, pour a glass of water, add the basil and bring the sauce to a boil. Let it cook for 15 minutes on medium heat.

Then remove the basil stalk and transfer the sauce to a beautiful baking dish in which you will serve the dish directly. Season with salt and pepper, add the mozzarella (pre-crush) and place the dish in the already hot oven for 5-7 minutes so that the cheese melts.

Serve dip with ciabatta bread or other bakery product.
