Mushrooms are a tasty and often addition to various dishes, but they have their own peculiarities in terms of processing. In the first part of the article we gave you some useful tips regarding their preparation, now we continue with more.

Of course, before processing the mushrooms , it is necessary to thoroughly wash and dry them, and you must be absolutely convinced that they are edible and do not hide any risks of poisoning. In case you have even the slightest doubt about their safety, do not use them!

So, how to cook mushrooms ? Once you have washed and dried them, you should cut the larger ones. To prevent them from turning black, pour a little vinegar into the water. After these procedures, wash them once or twice more with cold water, pour boiling water for a few seconds, drain with a colander and allow to dry slightly. You can now switch to heat treatment.

Mushroom dishes are usually cooked over low heat so as not to lose the unique aroma, the time varies from 30 minutes to an hour.

The taste of mushrooms goes perfectly with apples, garlic, onions, dill and coriander. Be careful with black pepper, and cloves and nutmeg can spoil the taste of the dish.

It is best to prepare an amount that will be eaten at once, as these foods spoil quickly, which means that to avoid unpleasant consequences, you should not leave them for consumption the next day.

Dried mushrooms are also often used for culinary purposes. If you have decided to dry them yourself, it is better not to wash them beforehand. You can clean them from dirt with a clean dry cloth.

Once dried, they are stored in closed containers at a temperature of 10 - 12 degrees. Before adding to any dish, they are usually soaked in hot water for about 4 hours.
