Required products :

  • 2 tea cups heavy cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt / optional /

Method of preparation :

  • Pour the cream into a deep bowl and beat with a mixer on medium speed for about 8-10 minutes.
  • You will notice that harder yellow particles gradually begin to separate.

 

  • Strain the separated liquid through a fine sieve.
  • Use your hands to "squeeze" the remaining excess liquid from the oil.
  • If you want to make salted butter, add 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt and mix well.
  • Transfer to a clean glass jar with an airtight seal.
  • Store homemade butter in the refrigerator for no more than 5 days.
