As a binding component (each specified product replaces 1 egg), an alternative to eggs can be:

  • 1/4 cup (50 grams) soft tofu mixed with the liquid ingredients of the specific recipe;
  • the soft part of a small banana;
  • 1/4 cup apple sauce;
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch.

When preparing meals instead of eggs you can use:

  • 1 egg = 2 tablespoons homemade milk + 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice + 1/2 tablespoon baking soda;
  • 1 egg = 2 tablespoons homemade milk + 1/4 teaspoon baking powder;
  • 1 egg = 2 tablespoons water + 1 tablespoon oil + 2 teaspoons baking powder;
  • 1 egg = 2 tablespoons water + 2 teaspoons baking powder;
  • 1 egg = 2 tablespoons corn or potato starch;
  • 1 egg = 1 tablespoon powdered milk + 1 tablespoon cornstarch + 2 tablespoons water.

When making sweet pastries, you can replace the eggs in them with the following combinations:

  • 1 egg = 1 tablespoon cornstarch + 2 tablespoons water;
  • 1 egg = 1 banana, mashed;
  • 2 - 3 spoons of soy flour, beaten with a little water using a wire whisk (foam should be obtained). Pour this mixture into the dough.
