Cream is one of the main elements in many desserts, and also a good addition to coffee and almost all desserts. However, we don't always have a bottle of whipped cream on hand, so it's good to learn how to break it yourself. Of course, the easiest way is with a mixer, but if you do not have the device, here's how to prepare it by hand.

1. Get the materials you need

The most important thing is to get a cream that has a fat content of at least 30%. As for the household utensils you need, choose a metal stirrer and a metal bowl.

2. Cool

Keep the cream cold in the refrigerator until you decide to use it.

3. Cool the equipment

Breaking will be much easier if you put the metal bowl and the stirrer in the freezer for 10 minutes.

4. Start stirring

Add the cream to the cold bowl and stir vigorously, following the changes that occur with the cream. For about a minute of stirring, the cream will foam, so continue until it reaches the consistency of mayonnaise.

5. Try it

It's time to try the cream and consider what it needs - flavors or sugar.

6. Sweeten

Before you mix the cream completely, add the sugar. It is advisable to use powdered sugar, because it will be absorbed faster, and if it is in granules, you risk whipping the cream and get butter.

7. Flavor

If you have decided to add some aromatic extract, now is the time to add it - it can be vanilla, rum, lemon, cinnamon and others.

8. Finish stirring

Stir until soft tips are obtained, you must be very careful, because in seconds you can beat the cream, and the result is irreversible. If the cream seems very thick, you can add a little unbeaten, this way you will get a smoother texture.

9. Serving

You can serve the cream immediately by adding it to coffee or using it to decorate your desserts.

10. Storage

If you still plan to use the cream for later, cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate, you can store there for up to several hours.
