  • 1 small head of red onion
  • 3/4 tea cup mixture of green spices (parsley, mint, coriander)
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 3/4 tea cups breadcrumbs

Method of preparation:

Mix the hummus, onion and green spices with the help of a food processor. Add the breadcrumbs, cheese, other spices and stir once more. Transfer the resulting thick mass to a bowl, wrap the dish with foil and refrigerate for about an hour. After removing the mixture, form small meatballs from it and roll them in flour. Pour about 2 cm of oil into a pan, heat it and fry the falafels in it until golden. When you take them out, put them on paper to drain off excess fat. Serve immediately hot with lettuce leaves, a slice of lemon and tahini sauce. Cold is not delicious.
