Put cooked and drained chickpeas in the bowl of a blender. Beat several times, pouring olive oil in a thin stream.
Add avocado, artichoke, spinach, garlic, salt, pepper, lemon juice and hot peppers.
Beat again until smooth and cool. Serve the hummus with a toasted slice or as a snack to the main course.
