How To Cook Indian Flat Bread With Chickpea Flour And Spinach (Rothi) - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Indian flat bread with chickpea flour and spinach (Roti)". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 2 teaspoons chickpea flour (200 grams)
  • 2 teaspoons wholemeal wheat flour (200 grams)
  • 1-1.5 teaspoons of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • spinach link
  • 1 tablespoon ghee oil (for spreading)
  • 2/3 tea cup of warm water


Method of preparation :

Add salt, pepper, cumin and spinach to the chickpea flour.

In another bowl, pour the wheat flour and gradually pour in the warm water, stirring.

Then combine the two mixtures and make a uniform and elastic dough. Cover with a damp cloth and leave for 30 minutes.

Divide the dough into 12 parts. Roll each to make flat cakes, grease with butter, fold, roll once more and repeat the same steps again.

Bake the loaves in a hot pan for 2-3 minutes on each side.

Serve hot.
