Required products :

  • 2 tablespoons corn flour
  • 2 tablespoons white flour
  • 1 teaspoon ajgon
  • 1 red onion
  • 2 small tomatoes (or 1 large)
  • 1 green hot pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • water for hard dough
  • ghee oil for spreading

Method of preparation :

On the kitchen counter, mix the two types of flour and season with ajgon and salt. Gradually add a little water and knead a firm dough. Let rest for 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, cut the red onion into small cubes. Peel a squash, grate it and chop finely. Chop the hot pepper.

Divide the dough into 6 equal parts and form small balls. Roll each out and arrange all the vegetables on top. Roll the rolling pin again so that the onion, tomatoes and peppers stick well to the dough.

In a hot dry pan, bake the loaves on both sides. Before turning each loaf, spread it with a spoonful of ghee.

Cover the finished cakes with a towel to keep them warm for as long as possible.
