Required products (for 1 cup) :

  • 1 espresso
  • 50 milliliters of coconut milk (you can replace it with cow's milk, but the taste will change)
  • 3 tablespoons ginger syrup
  • crushed ice

For syrup:

  • 2 teaspoons fresh ginger
  • 2 teaspoons water
  • 2 teaspoons sugar

Method of preparation :

Make the syrup. Peel the ginger, cut into pieces, put it in a saucepan, pour the sugar and pour the water. Put the pan on high heat and let the mixture boil. Then reduce the temperature, cook the contents for 40 minutes. During this time, the syrup will thicken and reduce its volume 2 times.

When cool, remove the pieces of ginger and pour the liquid into a convenient container. Store in the refrigerator.

Boil the coffee and pour it into a cup with crushed ice. Add the ginger syrup and coconut milk.

Stir, pour into a glass and enjoy the refreshing taste!
