Even if you eat a low-carb diet, you should not deprive yourself of your favorite foods. The Internet is full of recipes that prove that one can follow a chosen regime and without being punished, the point is to be open to various challenges and, of course, to cook for you.

Here's how to make lasagna without using high-carb crusts from the store.

Required products :

  • 8 broken eggs
  • 280 grams of cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 5 tablespoons husk

For the sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove of garlic, finely chopped
  • 600 grams of minced beef
  • 3 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1/2 tablespoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon water

for the cheese:

  • 2 teaspoons sour cream
  • 150 grams of grated ripe mozzarella
  • 60 grams of parmesan, grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped parsley

Method of preparation :

Preheat the oven to 150 degrees and line a large baking tray with parchment paper.

In a bowl, mix the eggs with the cream cheese and salt, mix with a mixer to dissolve the cheese more easily. Add the husk and wait a few minutes for the mixture to thicken and form a dough.

Put it in the prepared pan and cover with a second sheet of paper. Roll through the sheets with a rolling pin to thin the marsh as much as possible. If you want the lasagna crusts to be even thinner, divide the dough into two parts and roll each one out in two trays so that you have more space to thin the dough.

Bake the crusts for 10-12 minutes, then cut them into rectangles according to the size of the lasagna pan you have decided to use.

For the meat sauce: fry the onion and garlic in olive oil until soft. Add the meat and tomato paste, spices and chop the minced meat during frying.

When browned, pour in the water and simmer for 15 minutes to fully combine the flavors and most of the liquid has evaporated (unlike standard lasagna, the crusts of this type will not absorb the sauce, so it should be thicker ).

For the cheese sauce: mix the mozzarella, sour cream and most of the parmesan (keep 2 tablespoons of it to sprinkle at the end).

Season with salt and pepper and add parsley.

Assemble the lasagna: start with the crust and finish with the crust, alternating with the tomato sauce.

Spread the last crust with the cheese sauce, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

Bake for 30 minutes until you get a golden tan on the dish.

Serve with salad of your choice and sprinkle with a little more parsley for freshness.
