Replace white flour with almond flour, which contains fewer carbohydrates and is naturally gluten-free. If the cakes were made only from almond flour and eggs, they definitely wouldn't be as tasty. Adding melted cheese, you will get a chewy texture and a very pleasant taste and aroma. Use your favorite spices and seeds to make cakes to your liking.

Required products :

  • 2 teaspoons almond flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 3 teaspoons grated mozzarella
  • 60 grams of cream cheese
  • 2 large eggs + 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 3 tablespoons mix spices and seeds of your choice (or mix of sesame seeds, garlic powder, onion powder and poppy seeds)

Method of preparation :

Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Cover a tray with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, mix the flour with the baking powder.

In a medium heat-resistant bowl, melt the mozzarella and cream cheese in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until melted.

Mix the melted cheeses in the bowl with the flour and add the eggs, stirring to combine well. Divide the dough into 8 equal parts. Knead each part of the ball. Press with your finger in the center to make it look like a pretzel.

Arrange the loaves prepared in this way on a baking tray covered with baking paper.

Spread the top of each loaf with the beaten egg and sprinkle with the mix of spices and seeds.

Bake for 20-24 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Enjoy your meal!
