Required products :

For the "peel" of the watermelon:

  • the whites of 3 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon crystal sugar
  • 3/4 tea cup powdered sugar
  • Light and dark green confectionery gel paints

For the filling:

  • 4 whole eggs
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon butter - cold, diced
  • 1 teaspoon of watermelon juice (pureed)
  • 1/2 tea cup chocolate drops

Method of preparation :

Make the kissing cakes, starting with preheating the oven to 100 degrees.

Beat the egg whites with a mixer until soft peaks, then add the sugar to the crystals and beat until the mixture is thick and shiny. Finally add the powdered sugar and mix with a whisk.

Paint the mixture with light paint. From the dark, make a few lines along the inside of the bag and fill with the mixture.

Grease the outside of the silicone muffin tin with round cups of grease of your choice.

Squirt the egg whites from the base to the top in a spiral motion to form a cup.

Make a total of 4 such shapes, trying not to touch each other.

Bake for 40-45 minutes until the kisses are ready. Cool and set aside.

For the filling in the pan, beat the eggs and sugar on low heat until the cream starts to thicken. Put watermelon juice and wait for it to boil. Remove from the heat and add the cold butter.

When the products are well combined, refrigerate for 4 hours. Put the chocolate pieces and stir.

Fill two of the kissing shells with the resulting mixture and close with the others.

Serve immediately.
