Required products :

  • 1 kg of lamb ribs
  • 1 teaspoon scalded with boiling water long grain rice
  • 300 grams of chopped sauerkraut
  • 3 tablespoons Satsebeli sauce
  • 3 unpeeled garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ground chili pepper, ready seasoning for lamb, black pepper and salt

 

Method of preparation :

In a small bowl, mix 3 tablespoons of lamb spice with olive oil. Spread the fragrant fat on the ribs, which you have previously divided into portions.

Leave them to stand for 10 minutes at room temperature and then bake in a very hot pan for 1-2 minutes on each side.

 

Then transfer half of the ribs to a thick-bottomed saucepan, add a little salt, sprinkle with ground black and chili peppers and cover with half of the chopped sauerkraut. Ribs and the rest of the cabbage follow again.

 

Sprinkle with scalded rice grains, spread Satsebeli sauce on them, season with pepper, salt and put the garlic cloves whole and unpeeled in the rice.

 

Fill the products with water to cover them by about a centimeter.

 

Stew the ribs with the rice and cabbage over low heat. The approximate time is 40 minutes.
