Required products :

600 grams of lamb (with bone)
500 grams of potatoes
60 grams of lard
100 grams of onions
80 grams of chickpeas (peas)
50 grams of carrots
150 grams of tomatoes
80 grams of sweet peppers
black pepper grains
salt
green spices


Method of preparation :

Wash chickpeas, pour cold water and leave the beans in it overnight.

Cut the meat into small pieces, put in a saucepan, add chickpeas, finely chopped tallow and pour cold water over everything.

Place the pan on the hob and let the liquid boil. Remove the foam that forms and let the products boil for about an hour (or until ready). Then add the chopped carrots and onions, wait for the soup to boil once more and put the potatoes in large cubes.

10 minutes before removing the pan from the heat, add the tomatoes, cut into four parts, and the peppers - into straws.

Season with peppercorns and salt. Serve the soup sprinkled with chopped green spices of your choice (parsley, savory or other).
