Here's a great recipe for lasagna with buffalo sauce. You will surely remember the spicy taste of the sauce and the fragrant cheeses that perfectly complement your dish.

Required products :

  • 1 tablespoon Canola oil 
  • 500 grams of chicken
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 stalk of celery
  • 1 large carrot - grated
  • 2 cloves crushed garlic
  • 400 milliliters of canned tomatoes
  • 300 milliliters of Buffalo sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon water
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon Italian spices
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 9 pieces of lasagna crust
  • 350 grams of ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon chopped parsley
  • 1 3/4 tea cup crushed blue cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 teaspoons dry mozzarella
  • 2 tea cups grated cheddar

Method of preparation :

Finely chop the onion, celery and chicken, and grate the carrots and fry them in a pan with canola oil. When the vegetables soften, add the crushed garlic cloves, after two minutes add the tomatoes and Buffalo sauce. Season with Italian spices, salt and pepper, pour the water and wait for it to boil. When this happens, reduce the heat to low, put the lid on and let it simmer for 1 hour.

During this time, prepare the lasagna crusts as indicated on the package (most often put in boiling salted water for 3-4 minutes). Mix the ricotta with 3/4 tea cups of blue cheese, parsley and egg.

Preheat oven to 180 degrees.

In a ceramic pan put 1 1/2 teaspoons of tomato sauce, arrange 3 lasagna peels on top, add as much sauce and pour 2/3 cup of ricotta mix, 1 cup of mozzarella, 2/3 cup of cheddar and 1 / 3 teaspoons blue cheese. Repeat the procedure until you have finished all the crusts, and on top finish the dish with the cheese mix.

Bake for 20-25 minutes in the oven until the cheeses are browned and begin to form small bubbles. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving. Cut into 12 pieces and serve sprinkled with a little chopped basil leaves.
