How To Cook Lasagna With Spinach, Bacon And Mushrooms - Recipe

Required products :

For the spinach layer:

  • 700 grams of frozen spinach
  • 25 grams of butter
  • 150 milliliters of fresh milk
  • 1 tablespoon flour

For the milk sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons corn flour
  • 4 tablespoons fresh milk
  • 600 grams of yogurt or thick sour cream

For the mushroom layer:

  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 chopped red onion
  • 1 clove crushed garlic
  • 200 grams of bacon, finely chopped
  • 450 grams of mushrooms
  • 150 milliliters of tomato sauce
  • 12 lasagna leaves
  • 8 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Method of preparation :

Mix the spinach with the butter and milk in a saucepan. Put the pot on low heat until the green leaves melt. Then pour the flour over them and stir constantly (movements in one direction) with a wire whisk until the mixture boils. Cook for 10 minutes, it should thicken, then season.

Make the sauce by combining milk and flour. Stir until smooth and then add the yogurt. The mixture should boil, stirring, without changing movements. Let it boil for 2-3 minutes, season and leave for a while.

Preheat oven to 190 degrees.

Melt the butter, fry the onion and garlic in it for 5 minutes, add the bacon, after another 2 minutes of frying add the mushrooms.

Five minutes later, pour the tomato sauce and spices to taste.

Grease the bottom of a deep form, put 1/3 of the lasagna leaves, mushroom sauce and 2 tablespoons of Parmesan.

Followed by lasagna leaves, spinach sauce and 2 more spoons of parmesan. Finish with the remaining crusts, pour over the white sauce and sprinkle with the last Parmesan cheese.

The oven should already be preheated, bake the dish in it for about 30-40 minutes.
