Required products :

  • 2 1/2 teaspoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon instant yeast
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 teaspoon hot water
  • corn flour

Method of preparation :

  • Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl and make a well in the center.
  • Add the hot but not boiling water and sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of oil. Stir with a wooden spoon.
  • Grease your palms with oil and knead the dough for 2 minutes.
  • Divide it in half and then each half into 4 equal parts.
  • From each part form 3 balls of approximately the same size.
  • Dip the top of each in cornflour and arrange in a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  • Cover with a clean cotton cloth and leave the loaves to rise in the oven for about 25 minutes while preheating to 180 degrees.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  • Allow the homemade cakes to cool briefly before serving.
