Necessary products:

 

for the minced meat

 

  • 350 grams of minced lamb
  • 350 grams of minced beef
  • 1 hot pepper
  • 2 boiled and mashed carrots
  • salt and pepper to taste

 

for the filling

 

  • 100 grams of pine nuts
  • 1 stalk of green onion
  • 250 grams of bulgur
  • spices of your choice (nutmeg, ras el hanut, curry)
  • frying oil

 

Method of preparation:

 

In a bowl, mix the two types of minced meat, mashed carrots and add the chopped hot pepper. Season with salt and pepper, stir and cool.

In another bowl pour pre-cooked bulgur, pine nuts, chopped green onions and season with spices. Stir the mixture. Take a ball of minced meat, roll it on a surface smeared with olive oil.

Put 1 tablespoon of the stuffing and carefully wrap the edges so that they close tightly in the middle. Do the other kibbutzim in the same way. Heat the fat and fry until done. Drain and serve with sauce of your choice.
