Necessary products:

250 grams of minced beef

250 grams of minced lamb

1 broken egg

1/2 tsp breadcrumbs

1/2 tsp cottage cheese (or feta cheese)

1/2 tsp finely chopped green onion

1/4 tsp finely chopped parsley

1/4 tsp finely chopped mint

1 tsp cumin

1 tsp cardamom

2 tablespoons olive oil

salt and pepper to taste

For the milk sauce

2 tsp yogurt

1/2 tsp mixture of chopped parsley, mint, dill, green onions

juice of 1 lemon

1 clove finely chopped garlic

salt to taste

Method of preparation:

Mix very well all products (add spices) except olive oil. Form balls with a diameter of about 4-5 cm. Pour olive oil into a pan and fry the meatballs in it over medium heat for a few minutes, periodically turning them on all sides.

Then arrange in a tray lined with baking paper and place in the oven at 180-200 degrees until done. It takes about 20 minutes, but the time depends a lot on the oven and the size of the meatballs.

Make the sauce : mix all the ingredients for it (you can add a little more milk if you find it too thick).

Drizzle the dish with the milk sauce and serve.

Enjoy your meal!
