Required products :

For the bark :

  • 170 grams of butter, cold and unsalted
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon powdered sugar

For the lemon cream :

  • 6 eggs at room temperature
  • 3 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • peel of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 teaspoon flour

For sprinkling :

  • powdered sugar

Method of preparation :

  • Mix the ingredients for the crust in a blender until you get a crumbly dough.
  • Spread it on a pre-greased rectangular tray measuring about 23/33 cm and press lightly with your palms down.
  • Bake in a preheated 180 degree oven until golden brown.
  • Meanwhile, prepare the lemon cream by beating the eggs and sugar. Add the lemon juice and lemon zest, then the flour and mix well until a homogeneous mixture.
  • Pour the cream over the pre-baked crust and return the pan to the oven for about 40 minutes until it becomes thicker and slightly golden on top.
  • Once cool, store the pan in the refrigerator to make it easier to cut the lemon slices.
  • Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
