  • 200 grams of kefir or yogurt
  • 200 grams of butter for cream + another 50 grams for the dough
  • 200 grams of sugar (150 of them for the dough and 50 - for the cream)
  • peel of 1 lemon
  • 1.5 teaspoons baking powder
  • 400 milliliters of fresh milk
  • 1.5 tablespoons ground natural coffee
  • 5 tablespoons semolina
  • 30 milliliters of suitable liqueur (can be replaced with syrup)

Method of preparation :

The dough

Beat the butter with the sugar, add the grated peel of the citrus and then gradually add the flour mixed with the baking powder, alternating it with kefir or yogurt (a few spoons of flour, a little milk and so on until they run out).

Bake the finished dough in a pan, the bottom of which you have covered with parchment. The required time is 20-30 minutes, depending on the appliance, and the degrees should be 180.

When it turns red, take it out and cut it horizontally into several pieces to get the tops for the cake.

Creams

Boil the coffee in about 100 milliliters of water and strain it when it cools. Mix the drink with fresh milk, you should get 500 milliliters of liquid.

You can dissolve a few teaspoons of instant coffee in 500 milliliters of milk, if this option is more convenient for you.

Sweeten with sugar and pour semolina. Stir and place the mixture on the hob. Once it boils, simmer until thickened (stir all the time).

About 5 minutes are needed, then cool.

Beat the butter with a mixer on low speed. Add the cooled porridge to it, beat briefly, increase the speed of the mixer and in a few minutes you will have a light cream-coffee.

Mix the liqueur with water and pour this liquid abundantly over the marshes on both sides.

Arrange them on top of each other, smearing them with the delicious filling. Cover the finished cake with the remaining amount of cream and sprinkle with crumbs from the tops.

Leave the dessert to stand overnight in the refrigerator and then serve.

Enjoy your meal!
