Required products :

  • 2 chicken breasts, halved
  • 1/4 tea cup unsalted butter
  • 1/3 tea cup flour
  • peel of 1 lemon, finely grated
  • 3/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 lemon, sliced

Method of preparation :

  • Thin the chicken breasts with a meat hammer to a thickness of about 1.5-2 centimeters.
  • Put the flour in a plate and roll the steaks. Shake off the excess and set aside.
  • In a small bowl, mix the grated lemon zest with the black pepper, salt, garlic and onion powder. Stir.
  • Season the fillets on both sides with the spice mix.
  • Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat and add the steaks.
  • Fry them for 2-4 minutes on each side and remove to a plate.
  • Add the lemon slices to the pan and fry for about 30 seconds on each side.
  • Return the chicken breasts to the pan and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Serve the fillets warm, garnished with lettuce, rice or vegetables.
