How To Cook Lemon Fresh Potatoes With Thyme And Butter - Recipe

Required products :

  • 1,300 kilograms of small fresh potatoes
  • 1 lemon (juice and peel)
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 sprig of thyme
  • salt and ground white pepper

 

Method of preparation :

Thoroughly wash the fresh potatoes with a brush and dry them. Cut into two or four pieces (depending on their size).

Melt the butter together with the olive oil, the fat should start to foam and turn brown.

Pour the potatoes into it and mix very carefully.

Cover the pan with a sheet of parchment, on which arrange the vegetables in a row and pour the fat over them.

Bake them at 200 degrees in the oven, turning periodically. They should blush, it will take about 40 minutes.

Cut the thyme, squeeze the lemon juice and grate the peel. Mix these ingredients in a large bowl, season with white pepper and salt. Stir and pour a little olive oil.
Then pour the hot potatoes into the saucepan, stir, wait 2 minutes and serve.
