Required products :

  • 2 1/4 tea cups sugar
  • 3/4 tea cup of condensed milk
  • 230 grams of white chocolate
  • 1/2 teaspoon melted butter
  • 4 tablespoons lemon extract
  • peel of 1 lemon, grated
  • a few drops of confectionery paint / optional /

Method of preparation :

  • In a large saucepan, heat the sugar and condensed milk over medium heat.
  • Stir constantly until the mixture boils and reduce the heat.
  • Continue stirring until the sugar is completely melted and the milk thickens.
  • Remove the pan from the heat and quickly add the white chocolate, butter, lemon extract and grated rind and stir until you get a thick and smooth cream. Now is the time to add the confectionery paint, according to the desired color intensity.
  • Quickly transfer the mixture to a square or rectangular shape and allow it to cool to room temperature.
  • Cut the lemon whip and serve.
