Required products :
- 2 1/4 tea cups sugar
- 3/4 tea cup of condensed milk
- 230 grams of white chocolate
- 1/2 teaspoon melted butter
- 4 tablespoons lemon extract
- peel of 1 lemon, grated
- a few drops of confectionery paint / optional /
Method of preparation :
- In a large saucepan, heat the sugar and condensed milk over medium heat.
- Stir constantly until the mixture boils and reduce the heat.
- Continue stirring until the sugar is completely melted and the milk thickens.
- Remove the pan from the heat and quickly add the white chocolate, butter, lemon extract and grated rind and stir until you get a thick and smooth cream. Now is the time to add the confectionery paint, according to the desired color intensity.
- Quickly transfer the mixture to a square or rectangular shape and allow it to cool to room temperature.
- Cut the lemon whip and serve.
