Necessary products:

 

  • 1 onion
  • 2 stalks of chervil
  • 1/2 cup orzo pasta
  • 400 grams of cooked chickpeas
  • 100 grams of chopped carrots
  • 3 liters of water or vegetable broth
  • salt, pepper
  • finely chopped green pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • juice of two lemons
  • chopped fresh parsley for serving

 

Method of preparation:

 

Heat olive oil in a saucepan and fry the chopped onions, carrots, peppers, season with salt and both types of pepper. Add the orzo, chickpeas, broth and chopped chervil.

Let the soup simmer on low heat for 30-40 minutes and cool. Sprinkle portions, season with freshly squeezed lemon juice and serve, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.
