How To Cook Lentil Meatballs With Vermicelli In Tomato Sauce - Recipe

Required products :

1 teaspoon green lentils
1 onion
3/4 teaspoon noodles
1 tablespoon starch
black pepper
red pepper
coriander
salt

breadcrumbs or flour for rolling

For the sauce:

1 small onion
1 tablespoon flour
1 teaspoon tomato juice or tomato paste diluted with water
spices to taste: rosemary, bay leaf, sugar, salt, coriander, cloves ...


Method of preparation is:

Fill the lens with water in which you have put soda. Leave the berries in the liquid overnight, then rinse with clean water.

Boil the noodles. Mix the prepared products, add the chopped onion to them and grind everything together. To the resulting mash add a tablespoon of starch, red and black pepper, coriander, salt to taste and mix thoroughly.

Form meatballs from the "minced meat", roll them in breadcrumbs or flour and fry a little oil to form an appetizing crust on their surface.

Make the sauce.

In the fat in which you fried the meatballs, put the finely chopped onion, sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of flour and let it cook until golden brown. Then in a thin stream pour 1 teaspoon of tomato juice or tomato paste diluted with water.

Stir thoroughly to avoid lumps. Season with your favorite spices and cook the sauce for about 3 minutes.

Then pour it over the meatballs, let them simmer for 5 minutes and you can now serve.
