Required products :
1 teaspoon green lentils
100 grams of thinly sliced bacon
2 teaspoons vegetable broth
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 red onions
4 cloves garlic
2 - 3 stalks of fresh thyme
2-3 stalks of dry sage
tarragon
basil
parsley
dill
mint
pinch of freshly ground black pepper

Method of preparation :
Peel onions and garlic. Wash the lentils, put them in a suitable saucepan and pour over the hot broth. Add 2 cloves of garlic, sage, thyme, close the pan with a lid and let everything boil until ready.
Cut the other two cloves of garlic in half, onion into semicircles.
Heat a frying pan and fry the bacon in it (without adding fat), when a golden crust forms, remove the pieces on paper to drain.
Finely chop the tarragon, basil, parsley, dill and mint.
In the pan in which you prepared the bacon, pour 1 tablespoon of olive oil and fry the onion and garlic until golden.
Remove the pan from the heat, add the bacon to the onion and garlic, add the chopped herbs and spices, stir and leave for the moment.
Remove the garlic and herbs from the pot with the lentils, drain the broth. Pour the lentils over the other products, pour a little of the liquid that you drained earlier, place the dish on the stove, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil, season with salt, pepper and heat the mixture.
Turn off the stove and leave the dish for a while to absorb the different flavors and aromas.
