Necessary products:

 

  • 225 grams of soft unsalted butter
  • 200 grams of sugar
  • grated rind of two limes
  • 2 teaspoons lime extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 500 grams of white flour
  • left
  • green food coloring
  • colored with green paint sugar for decoration

 

Method of preparation:

 

Beat the eggs with the sugar and butter. Add the flour, salt, citrus peel and lime extract. Mix and separate part of the dough. Paint the larger amount in pale green and make a roll.

Roll out the white dough, wrap the colored dough in it and cut the edges. Pour the colored sugar on a kitchen counter and roll out the dough. Using a sharp knife, cut circles.

 

Cut them in half and make half-cuts as shown in the photos.

 

Arrange the biscuits on a tray covered with a sheet of parchment.

 

Preheat oven to 200 degrees and bake for 10 minutes. Cool, arrange and serve.
