Required products :

  • 500 grams of liver of your choice
  • 2 onions
  • 5 tablespoons lard or oil for frying onions
  • 1.5 tablespoons meat broth
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 bunch dill
  • 500 grams of spaghetti
  • 15 grams of oil for cooking spaghetti

Method of preparation :

Clean the liver from skins, veins and any unnecessary parts, cut it into pieces about 1.5 centimeters in size. Fry them for 2-3 minutes in butter over medium heat. Do not add salt at this stage, because the liver will soften.

Peel, wash and saturate the onion heads. Stew for 2-3 minutes until golden (stir in the meantime), then add the tomato puree, stir, cook for 1-2 minutes and remove from the heat.

Put the spaghetti in 5 liters of boiling water, in which you put 1 tablespoon of butter. Boil for 3 minutes, turn off the heat and let them stand in the water until soft. Then drain the liquid using a colander.

Distribute the pieces of liver in pots, followed by spaghetti and finally onion with tomato paste. Add salt to taste and pour over the broth. Close the pots with lids, place in the oven and cook for about 20 minutes.

Finely chop the dill, sprinkle it on the finished dish.

Enjoy your meal!
