Required products :

500-600 grams of liver of your choice (pork, beef or veal)
700 grams of potatoes
2 medium onions
2 medium carrots
1 teaspoon honey (1.5 teaspoons sugar)
2-3 tablespoons tomato paste
2-3 tablespoons flour
oil
salt, ground black pepper and meat seasoning - to taste

Method of preparation :

Wash the liver thoroughly, cut it into large pieces about 1.5 centimeters thick, and them into smaller ones. Wash again in a colander and dry.

Peel the potatoes, cut them into small cubes and fry in hot oil for about 9-10 minutes, stirring constantly. Add salt to taste and transfer to another bowl.

Pour oil into the pan, in which stew for about 10 minutes the chopped onion and coarsely grated carrots (until the onion is transparent).

Then add the tomato puree, sugar / honey, salt and pepper to taste, pour about 1 teaspoon of hot water and let it simmer for 3-4 minutes.

Roll each piece of liver in flour, put in a colander, shake to drop the excess.

Heat oil in a separate bowl and arrange a row of liver on the bottom. Fry it in for about 2 minutes on each side until golden brown. Season to taste.

Then take a casserole or a large casserole. At the bottom of the dish put a row of potatoes, and on them the liver.

Distribute the tomato sauce and pour a little water (if you use pots - 4-5 tablespoons in each, if you cook in a pot - 1 cup).

Cover with a lid and place in the oven. Turn it to 200 degrees and let the dish cook for about 15-20 minutes after heating. Then turn off, but do not remove the dish for another 5-10 minutes.

Enjoy your meal!
