Required products :

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 red onion, finely chopped
  • 2 sprigs of thyme
  • 1 large clove of garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 800 grams of red beans, drained
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 200 milliliters of vegetable broth
  • great connection parsley
  • 100 grams of walnuts, coarsely chopped

Method of preparation :

Heat the fat in a pan and fry the onion with the thyme, cook for about 10 minutes until soft. Add the garlic and wait for it to release its aroma, add the beans, vinegar and broth. Simmer for 5 minutes until the liquid is reduced.

Blend 3/4 of the dish together with the walnuts and parsley to a puree consistency. Taste and when the dish is still warm, add the remaining beans.

Serve with bread, crackers or vegetables.
