Method of preparation:
In a bowl pour lukewarm water, add honey and yeast. Allow the mixture to activate for ten minutes and add the pumpkin puree.
Sift and add the flour, salt and mix until smooth. Make and leave the dough to rise.
Meanwhile, prepare the caramel. In a saucepan, heat the honey, cream, season with salt and stir until done. Simmer until amber in color and remove from the heat.
Heat the oil, scoop out the dough with a spoon, fry until golden and drain on kitchen paper.
Make the remaining dough balls in the same way. Serve donuts lukumades garnished with honey caramel, ground walnuts and cinnamon.
