How To Cook Marinated Ginger With Radish And Rice Vinegar - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Marinated ginger with radish and rice vinegar". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 340 grams of fresh ginger
  • 1 large red radish
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons salt kosher
  • 1/2 cup rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon water
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar

Method of preparation :

 

  • Peel a squash, grate it and cut it into thin slices.
  • Wash the radish, clean it and also cut it into slices.
  • Transfer the ginger to a bowl and sprinkle with salt. Stir and let stand for 30 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, prepare the marinade by mixing the vinegar, water and sugar in a small saucepan over high heat.
  • Bring the mixture to a boil and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  • Fill a large glass jar with salted ginger and radish.
  • Cover with the marinade up to 2 cm from the edge of the dish.
  • Gently tap the bottom of the jar on a flat surface to remove air bubbles.
  • Close tightly and after cooling to room temperature, store it in the refrigerator for up to 2 months.

Note!

If the jars are canned, they can be stored unopened in a dark and cool place .
