How To Cook Marinated Leeks In Mustard And White Wine - Recipe

Required products :

6 leeks
5 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons vinegar
3 tablespoons white wine
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon sugar
salt and ground black pepper to taste

Method of preparation :

Clean the leeks, cut off the green part, marinate only the white with a little of the green base.
Cut the stalks lengthwise, then wash and cut into smaller pieces, which you put in boiling salted water. Let it boil for 10 minutes, remove to a colander and allow the excess liquid to drain. Transfer the leeks to a plate.

 

Mix the white wine with the vinegar in a suitable bowl, add the mustard and beat with a wire whisk. Then add sugar, salt and ground black pepper to taste, beat again until the sweet and salty crystals are completely dissolved.

 
Finally, pour olive oil and stir the marinade.

 

Pour it over the leeks and leave it for a while to absorb the flavors and aromas.
