Required products :
1,200 - 1,500 kilograms of pork breast
1 teaspoon salt
2 large onions
For the sauce:
1 large orange
2-2.5 tablespoons mustard
3-3.5 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon mixture of different types of ground pepper
12-15 drops of Tabasco sauce
2 teaspoons ground red pepper
1/2 teaspoon dry rosemary
1.5 teaspoon dried basil
Method of preparation :
Peel an orange, cut it into slices and put it in a blender together with a part of the peel. Add salt, pepper, rosemary and basil, also drops of Tabasco sauce. Grind everything to a state of puree, to which you add red pepper, honey and to obtain a thicker consistency, use a little starch. Stir until the mixture is homogeneous.
Wash the breasts, dry them and rub with salt. Then smear all sides with the prepared orange sauce and wrap in a plastic bag. Leave the meat to marinate for an hour.
Cut the onion into large pieces, which you arrange on the bottom of an oiled pan. Put the pork breast on it and spread with the rest of the sauce.
Bake in a preheated 190-200 degree oven until done.
The exact time depends on the thickness of the piece of meat, but the minimum for its preparation is 70 minutes, and the maximum - almost 2 hours.
When removed from the oven, wrap the breasts in foil and leave for 15 minutes.
You can then serve the fragrant dish.
