Necessary products:

 

  • 10-12 pieces of frozen sardines
  • 1 cup green olives
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1 large carrot, cut into shapes of your choice
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 1-2 red peppers
  • 10 grains of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1/2 tablespoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon water
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar

 

Method of preparation:

 

Peel a sardine and put it in a bowl. Arrange the olives, garlic cloves, carrots, bay leaves, peppers around the fish and sprinkle with black peppercorns.

 

Add salt, olive oil, water and vinegar. Close the pan with a lid and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce heat and cook for another 40 minutes on low heat. Store in a cool place, serve well chilled with a drink of your choice.
