Required products (for 1 jar of 0.700 l):

400 grams of young zucchini

2 bay leaves

4 - 5 carnation inflorescences

5 - 6 grains of white and black pepper

 

For the marinade (per 1 liter of water):

2 tablespoons sugar

2 teaspoons salt

150 milliliters of vinegar 9%

 

Method of preparation:

Wash the zucchini, cut their stalks, cut them into circles about 1 cm thick and fill them in a clean and dry jar. Put the bay leaves, cloves, pepper.

Pour 1 liter of hot water into a saucepan, put it on the stove and add salt, sugar, vinegar and bring to a boil. Pour the marinade over the zucchini and close the jar. If you want to store for a longer time, pasteurize the contents before closing the jars in boiling water for 1 hour. In general, zucchini are ready to eat in two days.
