How To Cook Marsala Salmon With Mushrooms And Brown Rice - Recipe

Necessary products:

 

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 1 teaspoon of Marsala wine or liqueur
  • 500 grams of fresh mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1-2 pinches of fine sea salt
  • a pinch of black pepper
  • 1 cup brown rice
  • 1 tablespoon toasted and peeled sunflower seeds

 

Method of preparation:


Wash, dry and chop the mushrooms. Melt in a saucepan, heat half the butter and fry. Add finely chopped onion and garlic.

 

Pour the rice, wine and 2 teaspoons of water. Season with salt, pepper and simmer over low heat until cooked. In another bowl, put the remaining oil, saute the salmon and stew until done.

 

Serve the fillets warm, garnished with the rice mixture and sprinkle with sunflower seeds.
