Necessary products:

  • 400 grams of marzipan
  • 100 grams of powdered sugar
  • 100 grams of ground walnuts
  • 20 grams of rum
  • 10 grams of almond liqueur
  • 400 grams of chocolate
  • 40 whole walnuts (1/2 of the walnut)

Method of preparation:

Make a dough of marzipan, sifted powdered sugar, ground walnuts, rum and liqueur. Sprinkle powdered sugar on the kitchen counter or table and roll out the dough to a thickness of 1 cm. Use a sharp knife to cut triangles (or other figures) measuring 3x2 cm.

Break the chocolate into pieces and melt in a water bath. Then cool it until it thickens almost completely and warm it again.

Dip the candies in the chocolate by stabbing them one by one with a fork. Place them on a wire rack to drain a little and while the chocolate is still soft, put a whole walnut. When the icing thickens, place the candies in the refrigerator to harden the chocolate completely.
